Community manager

VicMan is an international group of companies specializing in developing software solutions both for end users and corporate licensors.
We’re looking for an initiative, results-oriented and data-driven Community Manager to build meaningful and authentic relationships with our users and facilitate the organic reach for our products.
Your primary focus will be at the intersection of community and product, so you should deeply understand the real processes and business goals behind community management.
This role includes both strategic and operational ownership, so you will not only develop our community program, but also deliver on it.


Responsibilities:
  • Define our community strategy and goals to support business objectives
  • Develop and execute initiatives to increase community membership and engagement
  • Gather, evaluate and implement user feedback to optimize the community experience
  • Provide feedback on data, insights, analytics, trends and values of the community based on research and monitoring
  • Understand and communicate market opportunities, needs and priorities to the cross-functional team to adjust the product roadmap.
  • Engage with the community, initiate and organize positive community activity through discussions, reduce the negative vibes and provide product support and guidance on air.
  • Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with super-users and advocate their voice to the team.
  • Create new and engaging content for various social and marketing channels, including community forums, blogs, email campaigns and social media outlets (primarily Twitter and Facebook)
  • Produce blog posts that will advocate for product priorities and intrigue readers
  • Manage translation and localization workflows


Requirements:
  • 2+ years strategic, creative and hands-on experience building and scaling online communites and their processes, ideally in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their users
  • 1 year min. experience writing/managing a company blog and social media channels for a brand/product
  • Strong understanding of determining, monitoring and adjusting success metrics based on community needs and product growth vector.
  • Experience with email marketing software and social media monitoring tools
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent English (Spanish is also very welcomed)
