QA Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer to help us take our products to the next level.
This position plays an important role in our team and is involved in entire product development lifecycle, from brainstorming to stats analysis. On base of that you will plan, implement, maintain and improve the overall QA approach and testing methods and processes.


Requirements:
  • 3+ years software quality and test engineering experience (web, mobile, desktop projects).
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of different types of testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, Compatiability, GUI, Localization, Security, Performance, Smoke, etc...).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, FireBug (or/and analogs).
  • Solid knowledge of cross-browser compatiability issues.
  • Experience working with bugtracking software (Redmine, Jira, Trello, etc.)
  • Experience in writing software requirements specification documentation, user stories, use cases, etc.
  • Perfect understanding of current web technologies, standards and how the web ecosystem is evolving.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, high attention to details, ability to define the core problems and prioritize your work accordingly.
  • Self-organization and motivation, good learning abilities.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with others and be a good team player.
  • Great written and communication skills.
  • Intermediate level of English.

Will be a plus:
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Participation in setting QA standards and processes for your team.
  • Good understanding of current social media (especially Twitter) and user social activity psychology.

Responsibilities:
  • Systematize the product knowledge base with clear specifications and maintain it. You’ll know every feature’s flow, use and test cases, technical issues and regression context.
  • Review and clarify the requirements to identify changes, opportunities and risks and keep the team on the same page.
  • Provide technical and non-technical guidance to the team and help onboard new team members.
  • Work closely with product managers to define strategy, discuss features and shape the experience of our users.
  • Create a prioritized test strategy for our products, prepare test data, perform and manage performance of manual test cases.
  • Promote QA best practices in the agile development process.
